The AI Playbook for Video Teams That Can't Slow Down
Wistia's new AI Video Marketing Trends report shows how marketers are using AI to handle the unglamorous work, so creative energy stays where it matters.
Marketing leaders across industries are using AI to reach broader audiences, move faster, and extend the shelf life of every video they make. The report breaks down how AI is improving speed and output quality, helping teams keep up with demand and raise the bar while they're at it.
Because when every channel needs video, you need leverage, not another meeting that could've been an email. AI clears the runway so ideas actually take off.
See how top teams are using AI to iterate, refine, and ship while keeping a human grip on taste, voice, and strategy.
Hi 👋🏻
I know how hard you work and how much time you spend on the content, but have you ever checked your analytics? If you do, then you’ll be able to understand that almost 80% of your audience doesn’t even reach your newsletter, just because they don’t cross step 1.
And step 1 is your landing page. Let me talk about the 5 landing page mistakes and how to fix them.
1. Promise
There are 1000s of newsletters out there. Why should I read your newsletter? That’s the question you should ask yourself.
If they don’t find a clear reason, they will quit the page.
Also, generic hero section copy doesn’t convert subscribers. So write something very specific.
Bad:
‘I write about marketing, growth, and ideas.’
Good:
‘Helping Indians understand the forex market like never before in just 2 mins, weekly 2X sharp at 3:00 PM IST’
Clear > clever
Formula: what + who + outcome
2. Target audience
If you’re appealing to everyone, you’re appealing to none. If your audience doesn’t understand if it’s for them, then they will not stay on the page.
3. Too many ideas
If you write each and everything in your landing page, that you’ll teach a-z everything then they will not sign up, too many things will spoil it.
4. Proof
No one cares about who you are, but people care about what you’ve done. So always mention things that will push them to subscribe.
Like, you can say, paid ads knowledge from someone who has been running paid ads for the last 5 years. It tells them that they are gonna receive the newsletter from someone who has the knowledge.
Another proof is your subscribers count, if it’s very low, then no point in promoting it, but if it’s not, then mention it, as 1000+ readers read it…
5. CTA
I’ve seen newsletters where I couldn’t even find a CTA to sign up, then after checking till the bottom, I found a small box to sign up. Your landing page’s goal is to get more subscribers. And if you hide your CTA, then there is no point in using a landing page.
CTA has to be urgency and value-driven, it should make sure to enforce trust to sign up for your newsletter.

Did you like it?
You only get about 5 seconds. If someone doesn’t feel like they should give their email at that time, you’ll never get it. So make the decision easy for them and always focus on clarity. Hope this helped.
Thank you! See you on Saturday, champ.
