Hi 👋🏻
I bet you’ve heard the phrase ‘consistency is the key’ a thousand times.
But do you really understand what it means? Probably not. Insideletter has just crossed £1000 in ad revenue from Beehiiv.
It might look too small, but for me, it’s huge. I’ve been building this newsletter since 2025, and I know how hard it is to get even one subscriber.
How it works
I keep talking about growth tactics like referral loops, distribution, and lead magnets. They all matter, but none of them works for long if you are not consistent.
Someone gives their email address for two main reasons. Either they already know you and trust you, or you are sharing something that solves their pain.
A consistent publishing rhythm does three important things.
It builds anticipation. When readers know they will hear from you every week, your newsletter becomes part of their routine.
It strengthens your voice. We know very few people on the internet, but we read and write about a lot of people. When they think about you, they will immediately recall how you write.
It compounds growth. Each issue adds to the growth. Even if only 1% of people regularly share it or ask a friend to subscribe, it becomes a huge win over time.
Listen
Well, consistency doesn’t mean publishing daily. It means you follow a schedule and never deviate from it. Consistency is all about discipline and the respect you show towards the subscribers.
Thank you! See you tomorrow, champ.
