Hi 👋🏻
One of the best ways to grow your newsletter is through a lead magnet swap.
Let me tell you more about it in today’s edition.
How it works
What do I mean by lead magnet swap?
You can collaborate with another creator in your niche and cross-promote your newsletter. But people don’t care about your newsletter, but when they hear it from someone they trust, they are likely to engage with it. But people still won’t subscribe or show interest in your newsletter, because they are not gaining anything out of it. So, all you need to do is feature their lead magnet in your newsletter, and they feature yours in theirs. This way, both audiences get access to a highly relevant resource.
Most importantly, pick a creator whose audience overlaps but does not completely match yours. This maximises reach without cannibalising your own subscribers.
Let’s say someone writes about productivity tools. They can partner with someone who covers personal finance. They send their subscribers a free budgeting template, and the partner sends their subscribers a time-management checklist. Both lists get targeted, subscribers.
Will you do it?
I’d love to hear if you’ll give this a try. Hit reply and let me know your plan.
