Real, measurable results with Performance TV

Here’s the ideal TV advertising scenario: Full-screen, non-skippable, premium placements. Ads that actually get watched by the customers you want.

But there are always questions:

❓Is this running on premium streaming channels—or somewhere nobody is watching?
❓Is performance measurable, or is it a black box?
❓Am I reaching the right audience, or just buying vanity metrics?

Modern, performance-driven CTV has the answers:

Transparent placement on premium streaming platforms
Precision audience targeting
Optimization for real, measurable results

You're not buying broad inventory and left hoping. You're making science-based, data-informed decisions with premium viewing experiences.

Worth exploring if "trust us, it's on TV" isn't good enough for you anymore.

Hi 👋🏻

As you know, I keep experimenting, and last December I said I’ll strictly focus on the monetisation part. But as per the demand, I think I’m not doing justice to the people who’ve subscribed to my newsletter.

So, I’m changing my content pillars a bit. From now on, you’ll see me talking about every part of a newsletter business.

And today, I’m breaking down the landing page of Milk Road. And yes, landing page breakdown is part of my newsletter content pillars.

Milk Road

Milk Road started as a crypto newsletter back in January 2022. The founders, Shaan Puri and Ben Levy, launched it as a ‘one-year experiment’ to see if they could make the complex and often ‘stuffy’ world of Web3 and cryptocurrency accessible to a mainstream audience.

But as of 2026, its scope has expanded to cover a broader ‘technological upgrade’ of the global economy.

Now it lies at the intersection of macroeconomics, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence. And the current subscriber number is over 330,000, which is really big.

Breakdown

Pros

Transformation hook: The headline turning everyday people into smart Investors is a masterclass in copywriting. It does not sell a newsletter, it sells a new version of the user who is wealthier and more informed.

Irresistible social proof: Leading with Join 300,000+ investors provides instant credibility. For a financial product, showing that a massive crowd already trusts the source is the fastest way to overcome scepticism.

Iconic brand moat: The Milk Carton illustrations, The Roadies, create a unique visual identity that is hard to replicate. This makes the brand feel approachable, fun, and human, which is a strong advantage in the world of finance.

Frictionless conversion: The hero section is clean. The white background, simple email input, and high-contrast subscribe for free button make it easy for a user to sign up.

Content segmentation: The use of category tabs like All, Crypto, Macro, and AI solves the relevance problem. It allows the site to serve different audiences without cluttering the feed.

Human-led authority: Featuring the names and photos of analysts like Chevy and Melvin builds a parasocial relationship. Readers feel they are getting advice from a smart friend rather than a faceless company.

Premium psychological shift: Moving from a casual mascot to the Tuxedo Milk character for the Milk Road PRO section is a subtle cue. It signals a move from free news to elite wealth building without changing the brand voice.

Click-worthy design: The article thumbnails use curiosity loops like So... it happened. This triggers a response that encourages users to stay longer.

Diversified utility: Including sections for tools, reviews, and buy BTC transforms the page into a full ecosystem for investors.

Cons

Excessive ad clutter: Between the Nexo banner at the bottom and the yellow tax software bar at the top, the above-the-fold area feels over monetised. This can make new users feel like they are being sold to immediately.

Severe accessibility issues: The use of light grey subtext on white or blue backgrounds is a major UX failure. It is difficult to read on mobile devices or in bright light, which can frustrate users.

Deceptive native advertising: The from our partners section is designed to look like editorial content. While this increases clicks for sponsors, it can erode trust when users realise they clicked an ad.

Weak testimonial attribution: Many quotes come from Anonymous or usernames like Nereid. For a premium newsletter, unverified social proof carries less weight than real names or profiles.

Visual information overload: Some of the latest market analysis cards have too much overlapping text and graphics. This makes the feed harder to scan.

Missing video metadata: The video and podcast section lacks duration timestamps. Users do not know if they are clicking a short clip or a long deep dive, which increases hesitation.

Inconsistent footer hierarchy: The footer contains two large competing banners, Podcast and PRO, with clashing colour schemes. This creates a visual conflict for attention.

Lack of pricing transparency: The PRO section uses strong copy but hides the actual cost. This often leads to drop-offs when users reach the checkout page.

Generic see more controls: The small arrow icons for scrolling through content are not mobile-friendly. They are hard to tap and do not clearly suggest swipe interaction.
