Hi 👋🏻
Whenever I open Reddit or Twitter and see a discussion about newsletters, I notice the same question keeps popping up, ‘How do I monetise my newsletter?’ And it’s a valid concern, after all, you’re investing time writing, distributing, and promoting your content, and you don’t want to get nothing in return.
I always say, build your newsletter with monetisation as a primary focus.
So, in today’s edition, I’m going to walk you through every possible way to monetise your newsletter.
Monetisation ways
Sponsorships: This is my only way to monetise Insideletter so far, and I get 100% of my revenue from the sponsors. It’s the easiest way to monetise your newsletter.
Paid subscription: beehiiv doesn't allow Indian, or rather Asian people, to monetise through the paid subscription, as Stripe doesn’t work here. But a paid subscription is one of the best ways to monetise your newsletter, but only if your content is top-notch.
Affiliate: You get a percentage by promoting someone else’s stuff.
Digital product: You build ebooks, mini courses, or swipe files and sell them via your newsletter. Highest profitability.
Coaching: You can always sell your knowledge to someone else and charge for it.
DFY: Though we build newsletters as a standalone newsletter business, the scalability factor is very quick when it comes to DFY service, so you can use DFY too, as a way to monetise.
Community: Communities won’t give you a lot of profit, but it’s the 2nd most easiest way to monetise because the audience is already invested in you, they trust you, and they can access your knowledge at a low price.

I hope it was helpful and that you can now easily monetise your newsletter, so you get paid for the effort you put in.
Thanks for giving it a read, I appreciate it.
