Hi 👋🏻
I’ve tried a lot of hacks to grow my newsletter, and one thing is very clear: growing it is not a cakewalk.
If you already have an audience or are really good at content creation, it gets easier. Otherwise, it’s really, really hard.
In this edition, I want to share one hack that helped me get 60% more subscribers.
The system
I’m sure you’ve subscribed to at least a few newsletters yourself. Go check their social media activity for a moment.
You’ll probably notice that most of them don’t actively promote their content. Even the best content won’t reach people if they don’t know it exists.
Here’s the thing: it’s all about reminding and following up.
How to do it
Whenever you publish a newsletter, try this, post a teaser the day before and a follow-up after it goes live.
For example, if you send it on Wednesday, post a teaser on Tuesday and a follow-up on Wednesday or Thursday.
This way, you’ll know exactly what to expect, and after it’s published, you get a friendly reminder to check it out.
Did you like it?
Reminding and following up make sure that people actually read your newsletter. Also, it keeps readers aware, engaged, and more likely to open each edition, that’s the goal. Over time, these small hacks ensure your newsletter actually reaches and resonates with the right set of audience.
